Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we are having to postpone our Recruitment Day on
27th March 2020 until later.
We welcome enquiries from qualified counsellors or counsellors in training who have completed their first year of a recognised Level 5 counselling diploma or equivalent counselling course to join our committed team of volunteer counsellors.
We provide a sound, professional and well-structured supportive setting for counsellors in training to gain the required number of counselling hours to fulfil the course requirements/accreditation.
All of our counselling team are given weekly group supervision and regular CPD opportunities.
Please contact the Head of Clinical Services via email@example.com.
We always welcome expressions of interest from people who would be interested in becoming a Trustee of Worthing Counselling Centre.
The main function of the Trustee Board is to govern the charity and to determine its strategic direction. The Trustees have a responsibility to ensure financial viability and compliance with relevant legislation. The Board strives to maintain an appropriate balance of skills and expertise at its disposal, and currently would be particularly, though not exclusively, interested in people with experience of property and HR. Residence and established contacts in the Worthing area would be an advantage but not essential.
The trustees meets four times a year and on other occasions to address specific subjects where necessary. Trustees are also encouraged to lend their specific expertise by way of advice and mentoring to the small part-time management team, and have a visible presence amongst the volunteer counsellors and staff.
For more information on this voluntary role, please contact our Chair of Trustees, Chris Corin via firstname.lastname@example.org
